Common Gunsmith Services and Fees
*Gunsmith Hourly Labor Rate (Excludes parts and supplies)*
$120.00 per hour with a $40.00 minimum diagnostic/repair fee (goes towards final bill).
If a firearm is dropped off for a malfunction diagnosis, a magazine and the ammunition involved with the malfunction must accompany the firearm. If no ammunition is provided, we will need to acquire ammo for testing. The box of ammo purchased for the testing will be added to the final bill.
Any firearm that needs to be tested using live ammunition will have a fee assessed for time, the cost of range fees, and ammunition used.
Cleaning prices listed are “base” prices, based on standard cleaning labor and supplies. If the firearm is excessively dirty and requires more than a standard detailed cleaning, it will be billed extra at the hourly gunsmith rate. Examples include firearms that have not been routinely cleaned, very rusty, seized up etc.
Additional Fees
Shop Supply Fee (Cleaning supplies, lube, etc.) : $2.00
“Expedited” sight install surcharge : $35.00
Administrative Fee for ordering parts : $20.00
Research Fee for hard to find parts : $20.00
Expedited Fee for any other “while you wait” installation, or “same day” cleaning will be an additional 50% of the standard rate.

Detailed Cleaning: $80.00 : Disassembly, parts inspection/cleaning, cleaning of barrel/chamber, cylinder, and frame, lubrication, reassembly, and function test.
Semi auto Pistols
Detailed Cleaning:$70.00 : Disassembly, parts inspection/cleaning, cleaning of barrel/chamber, frame, and magazines, lubrication, reassembly, and function test.
Sight Installation: $35.00 : Removal of factory sights & installation of replacement sights.
*If sights need hand fitting, there will be a $50.00 fitting charge*
Trigger Installation and Fitment: $35.00-$150.00 : Disassembly, cleaning/inspection of trigger group, installation of trigger kit, lubrication, reassembly, and function test. Prices vary based on complexity of trigger kit. Most standard trigger kits are $35.00
Trigger Polishing: $65.00 : Polishing of all internal trigger components (disassembly/reassembly is not included into this price)
1911 Style Pistols
Detailed Cleaning: $95.00 : Disassembly, parts inspection/cleaning, cleaning of barrel/chamber, frame, and magazines, lubrication, reassembly, and function test.
Sight Installation: $35.00-$75.00 : Removal of factory sights & installation of replacement sights.
*If sights need hand fitting, there will be a $50.00 fitting charge*
** If changing from fixed/staked front sights to dovetail, and machine work is needed, a quote will be provided.**
Misc. Parts Installation (Hammer, Sear, Trigger etc.): $50.00-$150.00 : Varies based on type of part, and amount of hand fitting required.

Detailed Cleaning: $110.00 : Disassembly, parts inspection/cleaning, cleaning of barrel/chamber, receiver, extension tube, and magazine tube, lubrication, reassembly, and function test.
Pump
Detailed Cleaning: $110.00 : Disassembly, parts inspection/cleaning, cleaning of barrel/chamber, receiver, and magazine tube, lubrication, reassembly, and function test.
Fit New Butt-plate: $120.00
Remove Stuck Choke: $75.00 (minimum)
*Browning A5, Remington model 11, and Savage Model 720, as well as the Winchester 1893, 1897, and model 12 Shotguns are more time consuming, due to the complexity, therefore cleaning starts at $150.00*

Bolt Action Rifle
Detailed Cleaning: $110.00 : Disassembly, parts inspection/cleaning, cleaning of barrel/chamber, receiver/action, bolt body, and magazine(where applicable), lubrication, reassembly, and function test.
Scope Mounting: $55.00 : Mount, level, boresight scope.
*Drilling and Tapping for a pic rail or rings will be billed at the hourly rate, in addition to the standard mounting fee.*

Detailed Cleaning: $110.00 : Disassembly, parts inspection/cleaning, cleaning of barrel/chamber, receiver, and breach block, lubrication, reassembly, and function test.
Scope Mounting: $55.00 : Mount, level, and boresight scope.
AR-15, AR-10, LR-308
Detailed Cleaning: $110.00 : Disassembly, parts inspection/cleaning, cleaning of barrel/chamber, receiver, bolt carrier, buffer, buffer tube, lubrication, reassembly, and function test.
Scope Mounting: $55.00 : Mount, level, and boresight scope.
Swap Free-float Handguard, Standard: $55.00
Swap Handguard (if gas block needs removed): $60.00
Trigger Installation: $50.00 : Remove existing trigger, Install new trigger, lubrication, function check.
Various Parts Installation: $25.00-$110.00 : Pricing is dependent on complexity of service.
Assembly of Lower Receiver: $55.00

Assembly of Entire AR15 Variant: $110.00
Remove and Re-install Muzzle Device: $45.00

***Per Nebraska state and local law, all labor is taxed at 7%(5.5% state + 1.5% Douglas county).***
We reserve the right to refuse any firearm work or work that we deem would render a firearm unsafe.
We DO NOT remove or deactivate any firearm safeties.
Parts installed with thread locker will incur an additional removal charge.
Firearms left over 30 days will incur a $20.00 per month storage fee.
Firearms left for repairs may only be picked up by the customer whose name is on the claim ticket. (NO exceptions). Lost claim tickets will result in a $10.00 fee.
